Library
Welcome to Pope Elementary's Library page. We have a collection of more than 15,000 books for K-6 students. All students will visit the library once a week with their classmates, and we have a daily Open Library period for children to exchange books. Grades 2-6 may have two books checked out at one time. Kindergarten students start checking out one book in January, and 1st grade may checkout 2 if they show responsibility.

Grades 4, 5, & 6 will have an award book challenge that will start in the fall and end in March.  The challenge is to read a minimum of five books from the Sasquatch or Young Readers Choice lists and pass the AR quiz with 85% or better accuracy. There will also be an award for the top reader of these award nominees from each grade level.

Please visit the Pope library catalog (link to the left of this message) for other useful links as well as research tools. You can also see your child's library account (books out, outstanding fines, etc.) there by logging in with your child's AR login.
